【摘要】:Thisisapreciseinstrumentalmethodgivingresultshavinganabsolutephysicalsignificancewithoutreferencetoacomparisonpaint.Itshouldbeusedwhenmaximumprecisionandminimumsubjectivityarerequired,asintestingspecificationcoatingsorevaluatingthehidingefficiencyofpigments.HidingpowerTestMethodD344isvisualinsteadofinstrumental,andgivesresultsthatarerelativetoamaterialstandardinsteadofabsolute.ItislessprecisethanTestMethodD2805butmorecloselyalignedwithpracticalpaintingprocedures.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedetermination,withoutreferencetoamaterialpaintstandard,ofthehidingpowerofairdrycoatingswithYtristimulusvaluesgreaterthan15%.Withappropriatemodification,itcanalsobeusedtotestbakingfinishes.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
