【摘要】:ThisdocumentspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthepreventiveactionofawoodpreservativeagainstrecentlyhatchedlarvaeofHylotrupesbajulus(Linnaeus)whenthepreservativeisappliedasasurfacetreatmenttowood.Thismethodisapplicableto:-water-insolublechemicalswhicharebeingstudiedasactiveinsecticides;-organicformulations,assuppliedoraspreparedinthelaboratorybydilutionofconcentrates;-organicwater-dispersibleformulationsassuppliedoraspreparedinthelaboratorybydilutionofconcentrates,and-water-solublematerials,forexamplesalts.Themethodisapplicablewhetherornotthetestspecimenshavebeensubjectedtoappropriateageingprocedures.
