【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60838appliestolampholdersofmiscellaneoustypesintendedforbuilding-in(tobeusedwithgeneralpurposelightsources,projectionlamps,floodlightinglampsandstreet-lightinglampswithcapsaslistedinannexA)andthemethodsoftesttobeusedindeterminingthesafeuseoflampsinlampholders.ThispartofIEC60838alsocoverslampholderswhichareintegralwithaluminaire.Itcoverstherequirementsforthelampholderonly.ThispartofIEC60838alsocoverslampholdersintegratedinanoutershellanddomesimilartoEdisonscrewlampholders.SuchlampholdersarefurthertestedinaccordancewiththefollowingsubclausesofIEC60238:8.4;8.5;8.6;9.3;10.7;11;12.2;12.5;12.6;12.7;13;15.3;15.4;15.5and15.9.LampholdersdesignedwithabarrelthreadforshadeholderringsshouldcomplywithIEC60399.Requirementsforlampholdersfortubularfluorescentlamps,Edisonscrewlampholdersandbayonetlampholdersarecoveredbyseparatestandards.

【摘要】:Thisfire-test-responsetestmethodmeasurestheperformanceofjointsystemsdesignedtobeusedwithfireratedfloorsandwallsduringafireendurancetestexposure.Thefireendurancetestendpointistheperiodoftimeelapsingbeforethefirstperformancecriteriaisreachedwhenthejointsystemissubjectedtooneoftwotime-temperaturefireexposures.ThefireexposureconditionsusedareeitherthosespecifiedbyTestMethodE119fortestingassembliestostandardtime-temperatureexposuresorTestMethodE1529fortestingassembliestorapid-temperaturerisefires.Thistestmethodspecifiestheheatingconditions,methodsoftest,andcriteriafortheevaluationoftheabilityofajointsystemtomaintainthefireresistancewherehourlyratedfire-separatingelementsmeet.Testresultsestablishtheperformanceofjointsystemsduringthefire-exposureperiodandshallnotbeconstruedashavingdeterminedthejointsystemssuitabilityforuseafterthatexposure.Thistestmethoddoesnotprovidequantitativeinformationaboutthejointsystemrelativetotherateofleakageofsmokeorgasesorboth.However,itrequiresthatsuchphenomenabenotedandreportedwhendescribingthegeneralbehaviorofjointsystemsduringthefireendurancetestbutisnotpartoftheconditionsofcompliance.Potentiallyimportantfactorsandfirecharacteristicsnotaddressedbythistestmethodinclude,butarenotlimitedto:Theperformanceofthefire-resistivejointsystemconstructedwithcomponentsotherthanthosetested.Thecyclicmovementcapabilitiesofjointsystemsotherthanthecyclingconditionstested.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIvaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.Thisstandardde0084oesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
