【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedurefordeterminingthecross-sectionalareaofstrandedconductorsbythemassmethod.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Thevaluesineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
