【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverscastcarbonandalloysteelingotsandstrandcastings,semi-wroughtingotsandstrandcastingsandrolledorforgedblooms,billets,andslabsforforging.Blooms,billets,andslabsaresemi-finishedsteelproducts,hotrolledorforgedtoapproximatecross-sectionaldimensions.Bloomsandbilletsmaybesquare,round,octagonal,orrectangularinsection;slabsarerectangular.Althoughnoinvariableruleprevailsbetweenthetermsbloomsandbillets,andtheyarefrequentlyusedinterchangeably,thefollowingsizedistinctionsareingeneraluse.Blooms-Cross-sectionalareagreaterthan36in.2(232cm2).Billets-Maximumcross-sectionalarea36in.2(232cm2).Slabs-Minimumthickness,11/2in.(38.0mm);width,morethantwicethethickness;andgenerallyacross-sectionalareaofnotlessthan16in.2(103cm2).Ingotseithertoporbottompouredorsecondaryremeltedarecovered.Strandcastingswithorwithoutadditionalreductionarecovered.Supplementaryrequirements(S1toS19)ofanoptionalnatureareprovided.Theyshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedbythepurchaser.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.
