【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstwokindsofrollsusedinmachineryforproducingcorrugatedpaperboard.Rollsarefabricatedofforgedbodiesandtrunnions.Thetrunnionsmaybeboltedorshrinkassembledononeorbothendsofthebody.Asealweldmaybemadeatthebody/trunnioninterface.Rollshellsaremadeofcarbon/manganese,orlowalloysteelashereinafterdescribed,andareheattreatedpriortoassembly.PressurerollsmaybeorderedsurfacehardenedasConditionH,orwithoutsurfacehardeningasConditionS.ProvisionismadeinSupplementaryRequirementsS1andS3fortheoptionalsurfacehardeningofcorrugatingrolls.1.2Corrugatingandpressurerollsmadetothisspecificationshallnotexceed30in.[760mm]ininsidediameter.Thewallthicknessoftherollbodyshallnotbelessthan1/12oftheinsidediameteror1in.[25mm],whicheverisgreater,butshallnotexceed4in.[100mm].Thewallthicknessofthecorrugatingrollismeasuredatthebottomofthecorrugationsinthelocationofthetrunnionfit.Themaximumdesigntemperature(MDT)oftherollis600x00B0;F[315x00B0;C]andthemaximumallowableworkingpressure(MAWP)is250psi[1.7MPa].Theminimumdesigntemperatureshallbe40x00B0;F[4x00B0;C]forrollwallthicknessesupto3in.[75mm].Forrollwallthicknessesover3in.[75mm]to4in.[100mm],theminimumdesigntemperatureshallbe120x00B0;F[50x00B0;C].Themaximumstressesontherollbodiesfromthecombinedinternalandexternalloadingarelimitedto18750psi[129MPa]fortheClass2pressurerollbodies,and20000psi[138MPa]forClass1A,1B,or5pressureorcorrugatingrollbodiesinGrades1or2.Forthetrunnions,themaximumstressesfromthecombinedinternalandexternalloadingarelimitedto15000psi[103.4MPa]forClasses3or4,or20000psi[138MPa]forClasses1A,1B,or5inGrade2only.TheGrade1strengthlevelisnotpermissiblefortrunnions.1.3ReferringtoTable1,materialtoClasses1A,1B,or5shallbeusedforthemanufactureofcorrugatingorpressurerollshells,andClass2shallbeusedonlyforpressurerollshells.TrunnionsshallbemadefromforgingsinClasses1A,1B,or5inGrade2strengthlevelasrestrictedbyFootnoteBinTable2orinforgingsineitherClass3or4.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation,thematerialshallbefurnishedtotheinch-poundunits.1.6Exceptasspecificallyrequiredinthisstandard,alloftheprovisionsofSpecificationA788/A788Mapply.
